Holiday Hauling CH Mack

David Preneta and son Eric from Branford, CT would need a vacation after completing their holiday hauling CH Mack. David wanted a bigger vehicle to pull his 38 foot ball hitch camper trailer as the old pickup he had wasn't doing too well with the big load. While driving for Gulf Oil in 1999 David bought the truck as a tandem axle day cab from Gulf Oil when they upgraded their fleet. Back then it was a pretty plain white truck, but not for long. The front axle was removed to leave some room for a sleeper containing a couch, wood flooring and tv/dvd. For the back of the truck, a wrecker body was found and cut down  to fit nicely. Finally after painting it himself and putting on some decals such as the image on the back David added chrome and lights.

The hard work has certainly payed off with comments from other campers and at truck shows such as "2008 Pride and Glory" where it took 1st place in the Mack category. See Photos below.
